Our story

Like all great modern love stories, ours began with…an algorithm.

While Blaine was traveling in Germany and Renée was visiting North Carolina, fate (and a dating app) decided to work across time zones and spotty Wi-Fi to make something magical happen. Messages were exchanged, emojis were sent, and somehow—despite six hours of time difference—the connection stuck.

We are two Louisiana natives who now live and work in the D.C metro area, and we’ve built a life together filled with everyday moments that continue to shape our story. From the start, our friendship was marked by laughter, curiosity, and a shared sense that this connection was something special.

What began as a long-distance experiment has become something lasting, a partnership built on love, patience, and the shared belief that maybe, just maybe, those dating app algorithms do know what they’re doing.

And now, we can’t wait to celebrate the best match of our lives with all of you!
